MARTIN MEDIA LLC
MEDIA TRAINING • PUBLIC SPEAKING • CRISIS MANAGEMENT • CONTENT, VIDEO & STREAMING
34 years on live TV taught me exactly what happens the moment a camera, a microphone, or a crisis lands on your doorstep. Martin Media puts that experience to work for your team—before the story breaks, not after.
ABOUT WISDOM MARTIN
Emmy Award-winning journalist Wisdom Martin has spent 34 years in TV news and sports broadcasting, anchoring the WUSA9 (CBS Washington) morning show, co-hosting the NFL pregame show "Commanders Kickoff," and hosting the streaming series "A Moment of Wisdom."
For 23 years he has covered Washington, D.C.'s biggest stories—six presidential inaugurations and four mayoral administrations. His live reporting spans Hurricane Katrina, the Sean Taylor case, a serial bank-robbery investigation that led to FBI arrests, and the Washington Nationals' 2019 World Series run.
He has won Emmy Awards for live coverage of a house explosion (2023) and the Reagan National Airport mid-air collision (2025), plus a 2024 AP Award for outstanding morning newscast. He holds a broadcast journalism degree from Jackson State University and is the author of "Pass Interference: The History of Black Quarterbacks in the NFL" and "Unconventional Wisdom: Conversations with Legends."
